It’s been a very busy week of teaching fitness classes, training and work. So naturally,  a chilled out Sunday has felt like a much needed break. While a lot of my peers are big on “cheat days” or “cheat meals”, the cheat concept is not really my thing. Most of the time I’m super healthy but that last little bit of me wants to (and will) indulge. Usually this will involve chocolate.

So if you also feel like some (healthy) chocolate, whip up this frosty smoothie for a fix. It’s just like a chocolate milkshake, only healthy!

  • 1 X banana (frozen)
  • 1/2 X cup almond milk
  • 1/2 X cup coconut water
  • 1 X tsp chia seeds
  • 1 X tbsp raw honey
  • 2 X tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 X cup coconut yoghurt
  • 1 X pinch himalayan sea salt

Blend and enjoy. Add a few ice cubes to reduce the intense cacao taste, if needed. I topped mine with coconut flakes, cacao nibs and chia seeds for an extra crunch. Yum!
